La serie “Le notturne” nasce da un’installazione realizzata in un bosco in occasione di “Cantiere artistico d’ambiente”, festival di arte contemporanea della durata di 24 ore. Ho cucito una tenda utilizzando una stoffa molto leggera e trasparente, ho allestito un giaciglio invitando i presenti ad utilizzarlo. Intimità, riposo, trasparenza, visibilità, violazione entrarono in corto circuito. Il letto fu rifugio per molti nel corso della nottata, io, intorno, scattavo fotografie.

"Le notturne" series comes from a setting I stood in a wood for "Cantiere artistico d'ambiente (environmental art yard)", a 24 hours contemporary art festival. I sewed a tent using a light and transparent cloth and I set a couch inviting people to come inside and use it as they wanted. Intimacy, rest, transparence, visibility and violation mixed and became confused. This bed was a kind of refuge for a lot of people during that night, I was around them, taking photographs.

Questa notturna racconta un percorso al buio, in campagna. Scattavo per farmi luce e proseguire il cammino, scattavo a ciò che non potevo vedere. Ciò che le immagini riportano furono incontri inaspettati, brevi apparizioni.

This set is about a promenade in the dark. I took photos using flash to light what was around me and go on with my walk, I took photos to what I couldn't see. All the subjects of these images were for me short apparitions, unexpected encounters.

"Il letto" racconta percorsi e soste, incontri e congedi, presenze inaspettate che si rivelano decise e vivide per perdere consistenza allo sfumare di un flash, possibili destini che appaiono per fare il verso a ciò che è presente e reale.C’è un giaciglio che accoglie e protegge, trasparente e ingannevole, luogo di non incontro, passaggio rarefatto, casa. Al suo interno dei personaggi.

"The bed" tells about runs and stops, encounters and leaves, unexpected vivid presences appearing in a flash light and vanishing straight away in the dark. There are possibles destinies joking what is real and sure. There is a couch receiving and protecting, transparent and ambiguos; inside, four characters.
